Bahati Tailoring Project
Advancing The Kingdom Ministries conducted the 2nd Annual Graduation Ceremony for the Bahati Tailoring School in Buwenge, Uganda. This project was begun as a partnership between ATK and another ministry. Widows and other ladies gather as much as 3 times per week to learn the business of tailoring. This is now the second class to graduate from the year long training.
Currently, the third class of 20 ladies is moving on well with the third annual graduation being planned for early November 2010.
Bahati recently received a contract to manufacture uniforms for a very large singing program that is being organized. The ladies made over 150 uniforms, earning some small monies to help them with expenses.
