I recently returned from my emergency trip to Uganda on Wednesday last. I had written about the serious health issues of our Worship Leader in Uganda, Sarah Namaganda. She underwent an operation for Peritonitis, a painful rupture of the stomach that spreads the contents of the stomach into the body. Welcome to the giant Kakira Sugar Works, a huge sugar cane plantation estate with 7000 workers. This Sugar Factory is a self contained village. The sugar cane is processed into sugar and the sugar cane fiber that remains is used to fuel boilers to make electricity. All spare parts are manufactured in their foundry. Re Einstein….after I responded to the article, I went to scripture (duh?) and checked and sure enough it said, “God created light!” And, He separated it from the darkness…it doesn’t say He created darkness.
