The Children of ATK
Advancing The Kingdom cares for over 35 children in Uganda.? The ATK Christ Church and Orphanage is located in Nawansega Parish, a formerly 100% Islamic village in Eastern Uganda.? Most come from Muslim families, some are physically disabled, some have never known their parents.
“Pure & undefiled religion is this: to look after orphans & widows in their distress.” (Jas 1:27)
All children are a beautiful gift from God.? The children of ATK are proving to the villages that our God through Jesus Christ can dramatically change a life into something beautiful.? Many of the ATK children are the academic leaders of their classes.? They work very hard leading praises and worship as we travel from village to village speaking of the Good News that God and His Kingdom desires to be near!
Although they come from places of desperation and poverty, rejection and hopelessness, you can see what God has done!
